A beautifully carved Red Kite which is once again gracing the skies of England. Carved from one piece of reclaimed mahogany type timber. The carving has been executed to show the Kite sitting on a tree stump and turning his head to one side. Not the best photo in the world I will admit but the Laburnum is quite a dark variety making the beautiful detail difficult to pick up on the camera. approx. 7 inches high.

Ralph Williams has devoted the last 20 years of his life to wood sculpture and the quality of his work shows his skill and dedication in the smallest detail.
